It was truly an honor to be part of such an empowering program. Not only did I learn a lot, including networking skills and public speaking, but I met the most wonderful group of supportive women, whom I’m proud to now call friends! Our trip to DC, will always be one of my favorite memories. After completing the program, I ran and was elected as State Representative. It turned out to be a very important election year, that resulted in NH’s most closely divided House since 1871! If you’re interested in learning and developing the skills to become a leader, I couldn’t more highly recommend this program!

Participating in the Ready to Lead program changed my life. I decided to run for State Rep after retiring from my career as a maintenance mechanic. As a blue collar worker, I had no polish, tech savvy, media presence or experience speaking in public. The knowledge I gleaned from all of the instructors and classmates was so valuable to me. I have grown in my knowledge and professionalism because of all I have learned. I am so grateful to have been chosen to be part of the first class of Ready to Lead.
